Vertikultur farming system is a system of agricultural cultivation is done vertically or terraced . This system is suitable to be applied in narrow lands or in densely populated settlements .The advantages of farming systems vertikultur are : 1 ) the efficiency of land use since grown much larger volume than conventional systems , ( 2 ) efficient use of fertilizers and pesticides , ( 3 ) the possible growth of grass and weeds are smaller , ( 4 ) can be moved easily because plants were placed in a particular container , ( 5 ) facilitate monitoring / maintenance of plants .Types of plants that can be grown this vertikultur very much , usually from commodity vegetables, ornamental plants or medicinal crops .
